Gagarin II
Gagarin, and the subsequent Gagarin II, is the first robot to be built by Telpochcalli robotics. It was designed to compete in RoboMaster North American Tournament 1v1 in 2021. As the first leader of the organization that built it I took a direct hand in designing and manufacturing the robot.
Gagarin II is an ongoing personal project of mine that takes the best parts of the original Gagarin platform and improves on them. Gagarin 2 will have improved suspension, the ability to continuously rotate to avoid enemy fire, improved armor and an integrated fire control system named Bishop.
The original Gagarin was developed, from conception to completion, over the course of 4 months on a shoestring budget. It went on to win the first annual RoboMaster NA 1v1 championship.
