Where I've Been
I am currently finishing a degree in Mechatronics Engineering at ITESM in Mexico City. But I've had the chance to live all over the world. Having lived in various countries, I am fluent in English and Spanish, with conversational proficiency in Portuguese and French. Additionally, I am actively learning Russian. My international experience has also provided me with an appreciation for different cultures and perspectives, strengthening my ability to work effectively in global teams.
Books I've read
I have a deep passion for science fiction, particularly Andy Weir, whose books—especially The Martian and Project Hail Mary—focus on protagonists solving complex scientific and engineering problems as the core of the plot. The strong emphasis on real-world science and practical problem-solving in Weir's novels sparked my initial interest in engineering and space travel. The Martian, in particular, was the book that inspired me to pursue a career in engineering.
Alongside Weir’s books, I’ve also been influenced by Jocko Willink, a former Navy SEAL whose insights on leadership, discipline, and resilience have shaped my approach to both personal and professional challenges. These combined inspirations fuel my commitment to continuous learning, problem-solving, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in engineering and innovation.
